Things To Do In Lagoon City

Boater's Heaven: Lagoon City is a true water paradise, with a well-established boating community; in fact the primary source of transportation is by boat! The real beauty of Lagoon City is only enjoyed while boating through the canals and viewing the community from the water. As you make your way from the lake there are substantial break walls that extend out wards for roughly 600 feet, and as you clear the break walls there is a wide channel leading to the entire Lagoon City complex. The entrance is well lit and the depth is maintained by dredging to roughly six feet. 


Lagoon City Yacht Club (LCYC):  
Paddle your canoe in sheltered and calm waters through Lagoon City's extensive system of lagoons and dock your boat at the heart of Lagoon City where you will find the exclusive members only Lagoon City Yacht Club. The yacht club offers seasonal activities which begin in early May and finish in mid-October with an Awards Dinner ceremony.  The Lagoon City Yacht Club is friendly and family oriented, with fantastic facilities. The second floor of the Lagoon City Community Centre building comprises of the Lagoon City Yacht Club rooms; there is a large function room, an accessible screened-in deck from the main room, washrooms with showers and a fully equipped kitchen.  For those that like to dine out there is a restaurant within walking distance of the Yacht Club.
